Welcome to VoiceQ, where we continuously strive to enhance your dubbing and translation experience. In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of updating VoiceQ to the latest version to ensure you have access to the most up-to-date features and improvements.
Version 8.2.1
Note: It's recommended to periodically check for updates to ensure you have access to the latest features, improvements, and security enhancements.
This update introduces "Adaptive Altitude," a new automated feature that simplifies the process of locking bands to specific altitudes. No more tedious manual adjustments! Simply drag characters in the scene to change their relative altitudes, or use the sort functions for quick adjustments.
Here's a breakdown of the changes:
Adaptive Altitude: This new setting in the Rythmoband menu automates altitude adjustments for both filtered and unfiltered lines.
Reset All Altitude Shortcut: A new shortcut (Shift+Command+R) has been added to the right-click menu in the scene section to quickly reset all altitudes.
Refresh and Reset Buttons: New buttons provide quick access to refresh the '%' and reset all altitudes to default settings.
Default Altitude Setting: You can now set the default altitude for your project within the Rythmoband options, including the new "Adaptive Altitude" setting.
These updates streamline workflow and make it easier than ever to manage character altitudes in your Rythmoband projects.
Advanced Script Filter: Enhanced Line Control
The Advanced Script Filter now offers more precise control over line visibility. A new option window, accessible via "Window > Advanced Line Filter," allows you to show or hide lines based on color codes and checkbox selections. This provides greater flexibility in filtering and managing your script.
Key improvements:
Color Code Filtering: Show or hide lines tagged with specific color codes.
Checkbox Filtering: Use checkboxes to further refine line visibility. Choose to either "Show" or "Hide" lines based on your checkbox selections.
Menu Overhaul: Streamlined and User-Friendly
VoiceQ's menus have been redesigned for improved user experience and easier navigation. Here's a summary of the key changes:
Optimized Organization: Menus have been reorganized to provide more intuitive access to features and options.
Enhanced Script Menu: The Script menu has been specifically optimized for MacBook users and provides more efficient access to essential script-related functions.
Improved Window Menu: The Window menu now features a more logical order of shortcuts, making it easier for new users to learn and utilize them effectively.
Help Menu and Website Support: For comprehensive support resources, the Help menu now directs users to the VoiceQ website: http://www.voiceq.com/support .
